Limestone is a sedimentary rock formed over millions of years from deposits of marine invertebrates. Subtle varieties of colour and texture with some even displaying fascinating fossilised. Limestone is most suited to the classic and contemporary interiors of our discerning customers.
Slate is mainly composed of quartz and muscovite minerals, often with pyrite, graphite and zircon. Because slate is formed with low heat and pressure it often contains microscopic remains of delicate marine organisms. Tiles can be of a riven, uneven surface or machined for a smoother level finish.
Marble is a rock resulting from the metamorphism of sedimentary rocks such as limestone. Tiles are sawn on both sides and then polished on one side to a uniform thickness.
